We are seeking a AV Technologist (Drafting Technician) at our Calgary Location. You will be responsible for creating documentation for our installation team. The projects you will be working on are a variety of audio visual and control systems, including video walls, large sound systems, performance lighting, and control systems.

Job Summary
We are seeking a AV Technologist (Drafting Technician) at our Calgary Location. You will be responsible for creating documentation for our installation team. What you bring to the team:
5 years of general AV experience in a paid or volunteer role
Experience using Microsoft Visio
Experience using DTools - System Integrator
Experience using AutoCAD LT will be considered an asset
Experience reading architectural and structural drawing sets
Committed to continual learning
What’s will be expected of you:
Complete a wide variety of drawing types:
AV schematics, Locations, Elevations, Rack Layout, Conduit Risers, Input Plate Diagrams, Custom Mounting Solutions
Communicate with key stakeholders regrading requirements, concerns, and
status
Able to adapt to changing project requirements
Maintain an organized file system for storing relevant documents
Complete as-builts from received “Red-Lined” drawings
Participate in weekly level 10 meetings
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies
Able to pass a security clearance as needed
