The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of audio visual systems, including but not limited to projectors, video walls, sound systems, microphones, and control systems.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Installer/Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of audio visual systems, including but not limited to projectors, video walls, sound systems, microphones, and control systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and extensive experience in the audio visual industry. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
Work with a partner / small crew to complete audio visual installation
Install: Speakers, TVs, Projectors, Screens etc
Implement rigging systems to suspend: Speakers, Lighting Systems, Projectors, Screen, LED Walls
Interpret AV schematic / Layout drawings
Terminate Various connectors (see below) Crimping, Soldering, Splicing
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of projects
Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, schematics and system configurations
Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users
Mentor and train new installers
Participate in weekly level 10 meetings
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
5 years AV installation Experience
People Skill Requirements:
A professional appearance and attitude with superior customer service skills and experience greeting and communicating with clients
A team player - being able to work with a team of driven individuals accomplishing a common goal
Being flexible - understanding that the customers needs come first and sometimes requires working a longer day
Job Skill Requirements:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Iphone or Andriod smartphone w/ cellular data
Solder XLR, 1/4" TS/TRS, 1/8" TS/TRS, RCA, DB9 termination experience
Compression RG6, RG59 termination experience
Crimp RJ45 UTP and STP termination experience
Rigging AV equipment such as speakers, lighting, and AV infrastructure to building structure
Fibre LC MM/SM termination experience
Use of hand and Power Tools
Basic Rigging Knowledge
Proficiency with Basic networking and troubleshooting
Experience with Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator Plus/Pro
Experience with accessing and troubleshooting shooting audio DSP software such as Symetrix, QSC Qsys, Audio Architect
Google Apps
Steel toe over ankle boots
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel - Typical 1 week / month
