When Southside Church set out to build a permanent home for worship, they didn’t just want a building — they wanted to create moments. From the sound system to the lighting design to the live broadcast setup, everything had to serve one goal: help people feel seen, connected, and inspired.

Southside Church in Chilliwack, BC is one of the fastest-growing churches in the region. Years ago, they were setting up in a school gym. Today, they’re welcoming thousands into a custom-built, tech-powered space designed to elevate worship and storytelling.

When their team came to us, they had a bold vision. They weren’t looking for something typical — they wanted an immersive, intentional, and precise environment that could support dynamic worship, high-level production, and a mission that extends far beyond the room. For Southside, that meant building a full-scale live production ecosystem — all to help share the message of Christ with the world.

🎥 Live Broadcast & Cinematic Camera Work

SouthSide runs seven live cameras, including mobile handhelds on EasyRigs with 70–200mm lenses, creating dynamic, immersive visuals for their livestream and in-room projection.

🔊 EAW Audio System & Q-SYS Core

From Dante-connected wireless microphones and playback to real-time sound processing and routing via Q-SYS Core, the entire audio experience is clear, powerful, and flexible.

🧠 Ross TouchDrive Video Switching & Timecoded Lighting

Lighting and video are locked in with timecode and Ableton Live, allowing precise lighting cues and video switching that follow every beat and lyric — all without drawing too much attention to itself.

🖥️ Greengo Comms System

Real-time communication between teams enables precise direction and fast-paced execution during live worship. When every moment counts, clear communication is everything.

💡 LED Wall & Lighting Control

A massive center-stage LED wall, layered with intelligent lighting and motion control, supports teaching, storytelling, and worship transitions with ease.
