The Chilliwack School District had a dream: to turn an old university building into a hub for creativity and the arts. But as they took over the premises, they soon realized that the aging AV equipment was holding them back. The classrooms, theatre, gymnasium, and other spaces were in dire need of a major upgrade.
Enter Sapphire, Western Canada's leading Audio Visual Systems company. With a team of experts, Sapphire was determined to turn the Chilliwack School District's dream into a reality.
In a series of meetings with key staff, representatives of the arts community, and the district itself, Sapphire listened closely to the school's needs and wish list. They wanted to make sure that every aspect of the AV solution was tailored to the school's unique requirements.
Sapphire delivered. In a bold, full-scale move, our teams transformed the Chilliwack School District's outdated equipment into a state-of-the-art audio-visual powerhouse.
Crestron-enabled classrooms were equipped with Epson projectors, auto-switching wall plates, and top-of-the-line audio systems. The gymnasium was transformed into a high-tech arena with QSC powered speakers, Panasonic projectors, and touchscreen control.
The theatre was given a complete makeover with a full-scale LED lighting rig, a d&b audiotechnik sound system with an Allen and Heath console and remote stage boxes, Panasonic projectors, and Crestron video switching. Sapphire even included a cutting-edge podcast studio, complete with a Rode Rodecaster Pro, LED lighting, and green-screen options.
Thanks to Sapphire's innovative approach, the students at the Chilliwack School District now have the tools they need to unleash their creativity and bring their ideas to life. The easy-to-use technology is a catalyst for inspiration and a launching pad for student success.
The transformation at the Chilliwack School District is a testament to Sapphire's commitment to excellence.
