Position Summary
We are looking for a Sales Apprentice - AV Design & Integration to work directly alongside a senior sales executive and partner. This is a hands-on role designed for someone early in their career who wants to learn how high-level AV sales and system design actually works. You will be immersed in real projects, real clients, and real decisions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with a senior sales leader, supporting and learning through:
Attending and shadowing client meetings.
Assisting in building quotes and proposals.
Following up with clients to ensure clear, timely communication.
Coordinating with manufacturers and industry reps for pricing and solutions.
Supporting active opportunities and helping move projects forward.
Traveling to site visits and project meetings when required.
Your initial focus is not on generating new business, but on learning how deals are built, sold, and executed at a high level.
Growth Path (What Success Looks Like)
0–3 months: Learn the process. Shadow meetings, support quotes, handle follow-up, and understand how projects move from opportunity to close.
3–6 months: Begin quoting and closing small to medium opportunities independently, while continuing to support larger deals.
6–12 months: Take on increasing ownership of industry-leading AV projects.
What This Role Is (and Isn’t)
This role is:
A hands-on apprenticeship in AV sales and system design.
Direct mentorship from experienced leadership.
A fast-track path into a full sales role.
This role is not:
A quota-driven sales job on day one.
A passive, behind-the-desk position.
A role for someone who already thinks they’ve done it all.
What You Bring
A working understanding of audio visual signal flow (required).
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
High attention to detail and ownership of your work.
Ability to stay organized across multiple active projects.
Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Experience in AV installation, technical roles, or related industries is a strong asset.
Upon Acceptance (costs reimbursed by Sapphire):
Three (3) year Driver’s Abstract.
Name-Based Criminal Record Check.
Smartphone with cellular data that can be used for occasional business purposes.
