We are looking for a qualified individual to join our sales and design team in. Our unique range of jobs includes installations in performing arts venues (sound, video, lighting), churches, restaurants and hospitality and corporate boardrooms

Our unique design approach to meet customers needs and budgets has our team very busy and we're looking to add another member!

Job Summary


The job is highly commission based and requires a driven individual who is ready to dig in and fight to win jobs. You will be primarily working in an office setting but will regularly need to attend site visits and be on the lookout for new customers and opportunities. The position is very flexible, so working from home and remotely is a possibility, but regular time in the office will be required as well to enhance team culture and connections.


We don't subscribe to the normal 9-5 suits and ties sales model. We are down to earth, honest, caring professionals who genuinely desire to provide the right solution to our customers. Our sales people are also our designers, so strong technical knowledge is required in addition to interpersonal skills in order to be successful.



Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for finding new business, developing a relationship, determining customer needs, designing a solution, and overseeing the implementation and handover process. Our management team is ready to help in the sales and design side, and our install team will handle the physical work, but in general our sales people stay very connected to projects even after the "sales" portion of the project is secured.

  • Responsive - in order to be successful in this role you must be able to organize and schedule tasks efficiently, as well as respond to inquiries and complete actionable items quickly

  • Experience with AV systems is required (can be on the sales side, or on the install/technician/operation side)

  • Sales experience is beneficial

  • We require a valid driver’s license and may require a driver's abstract

  • iPhone or Android Smartphone

  • Experience with control and DSP systems is beneficial in the design process


Requirements


Experience Requirements:

  • AV sales or installation: 2 years (required)

  • AV: 5 years (required)


People Skill Requirements:

  • A professional appearance and attitude with superior customer service skills and experience greeting and communicating with clients

  • A team player - being able to work with a team of driven individuals accomplishing a common goal

  • Being flexible - understanding that the customers needs come first and sometimes requires working a longer day
